A member here used to make them but has stopped. They are available on the bay but examine them closely for fit and finish.

I’m not going to be wearing my 1601 as a daily beater anymore. I just took it into service because my seconds hand stopped working. Vintage watches are not good beaters. I’m going modern daily now

I wasn't going to post in this thread, but wanted to let Richard (and anyone else who is interested in clear case backs) know that Thomas Preik seems to still be making them for specific Rolex references . Here is his site-
