Incoming Polar ExpII

Perfect Father's Day present for myself, finally got the call for my polar 216570.

Amazing watch, more comfortable on the wrist than my sub. I just love the white dial!

Recently purchased one and it’s my favorite Rolex. I’ve owned many different models and this surpasses then all. Congrats.

I would definitely go for it. Was pouring out, got in the truck and thought the shot looked pretty cool. Thank you.

Congrats! I wanted one of these for ages tried one on at a local AD and the Maxi case made it too big!!! Tried the older model on with drilled lugs? Was a better fit in face perfect!

Do enjoy the older ones, the maxi case just fits me better. Different pieces for different people! Wear it in good health.

The 216570 is not the maxi/super case design. While the diameter is larger at 42mm, the lug profile is actually more similar to the 16570. The maxi/super case is 51mm lug to lug extremity, while the 216570 is only 53.4mm lug to lug extremity. The bezel inner diameter is larger in proportion to the case, allowing a larger dial. This larger dial gives the perception of a larger watch than it actually is.

Eh, is what it is. Just referred as maxi as it is larger than the 16570 lol. Dial/indices by seemingly a decent amount.

I need one of these in my life. Picked up a copy of the explorer II Rolex magazine to hold me off a little longer.

My AD sent me a copy back in January - what a great read!

Made me fall in love with the 42mm Polar but I don't think my little wrist could carry it off? My wrist diameter is 55mm - how silly will it look?! Any owners with similar size wrist care to post a pic?

Was chatting to my AD a few days ago about this watch and he said I could definitely have one this year as they don't have a list for them, but he'd recommend holding off until Basel because he's convinced the Explorer will get an update next......
