Such a stunning and underrated piece (although I feel that's changing now)! Congratulations and enjoy it.

Nice one

Had this one myself, I miss it, & I will most likely get another once again. One of the very few white dials that I love. Just about the perfect white dial actually.

2 months to the day lol. Yeah i Bought a DJII and OP in 2016 i think through them. Apparently there were more than a few people on the list after me.

Was chatting to my AD a few days ago about this watch and he said I could definitely have one this year as they don't have a list for them, but he'd recommend holding off until Basel because he's convinced the Explorer will get an update next......
Should see if i can find a copy of that.
I think you would be able to pull it off lug length is not huge, if you can wear a sub i feel you will be fine with this.
I wanted one before any redesigns or updates as i love the current model as is, especially any changes in the aesthetics would be a negative for me. my AD has a list for the polar expii so if yours doesnt and you love the watch i say go for it.

This larger dial gives the perception of a larger watch than it actually is.
I might be wrong but I think you have the lug to lug dimensions the other way round. The 216570 is 50mm what from I have read online

You should find a copy, you'll enjoy it. There are lots at the AD and they should be able to get you one. We are going tonight to a Tudor event. If I remember I will pick one up for you and mail it to you.

Lug to lug extremity is inclusive of end links (actual total as worn), gives it a total of 53.4mm.

I have my first one incoming tomorrow. I think it is the best looking Rolex Sport watch visually. I hope I can warm up to it as I am a Deepsea/GMT C guy. But, I have wanted one for years.

That’s a beauty. I need a GMT function for travel, have gotten frustrated with the absolute idiocy around the GMT IIs and their availability/pricing, just started my search for one of these a few days ago.

Hope you enjoy it as much as i do, if it makes you feel any better my other daily is my SubC date. I feel the exp ii wears more comfortably, for me sits just perfect, and of course the awesome white dial.
