I really like natural lighting for reading & writing. There are some great desk lamps available these days.
Yes that is an Atmosphere clock Ian.

Question, what if we don't have a luxury writing pen? Could we use anything?

This was last winter from my apartment window where my writing table is. I am very lucky to have green space in my part of the city, though this was the worst snow we had in years! That white in the foreground is a small lagoon!
Beautiful view Ian. It looks like a post card.

Thank you Phillipe. I am fortunate as the view is wonderful all year round, it does not feel like I am in a city!

Kyle, what a neat and tidy desk! I really like that you have something natural to balance out all the man made things, Great working space my friend I think that one of the pen rugs would look perfect there

This is where the magic happens . . . Permit me to introduce my bear, Chub-U-Lonce. By now you must be well-acquainted with the trusty and beloved terrier, Taffi, then of course, there's yours truly. Look no further; we are the winning trifecta.

Tee hee hee. Your prize is the services of my "Merry Maid," I'll send her over as soon as she cleans up my sorry place. And here's the caveat - you win the pen rest, you cut it in half and send half to me. If I win the prize, I'll keep it and send you a picture. The scales of justice are swinging in your direction. Can you feel it?

Thanks a lot Faith That sounds like a very fair result especially as I'm disqualified from winning

I do need a cleaner however got to do something about that for sure.

Your sorry place is probably the Taj Mahal compared to my very sorry place.

Ian,

I think you have it wrong here. I believe the quote is:

"A neat and tidy desk is evidence of dirty drawers".

I'm not at the office right now...as a matter of fact I'm in the Bay Area for the weekend...so I'm going to have to submit this previous photo of my desk. My MB ms rollerball is there on top of my notebook. I'd like one of those pen rests/rugs!
