Anyone from Southeastern Michigan or Northern Ohio interested in a GTG?

I was wondering if any board members from the metro Detroit area or Toledo area would like to get together for a meet and greet?

Definitely, if I am in town count me in.

Here is the thread from the last SE Michigan GTG effort in November 2013. Unfortunately, that one didn't come together but maybe this one can.

If we do it in Birmingham I know the owner of Back in Time International (http://backintimeintl.com). He is a serious WIS and might host a stop at his shop and maybe a peek at his private collection!

Lots of great restaurants & bars to choose from as well. All within walking distance!

Thanks for the link. Birmingham or Ann Arbor would be great as there are many great bar and restaurants within walking distance. Also, Schlander and Sons a nice little AD on Main Street downtown Ann Arbor would be nice as it's next to many fine restaurants and bars. Hopefully we could get some momentum going this time around. Cheers!

Id love to meet in ann arbor. I tried to get a gtg together but its hard accomodating everyone. I think a date should be set, then those of us who make it;make it. And then we could make it an event 2-4 times a year, possibly even 6-12 if turnout is good or more interest builds. Theres plenty of MI members here and a small get together is a great place to start. Its hard finding times and places for watch enthusiasts to meet and chat. I'd love to meet people with similar interests.

OK, I know this thread is ancient history ... but I joined in December and I'm in SE Michigan as well. Birmingham is close and I'd love to get to know some folks here.

Just PM me ... don't check in here often.

Name it!

I was in Brighton Saturday @ The Lingenfelter Collection.

Certainly within my area.
