Perhaps Rolex should get rid of the crown emblem then everyone's would line up somewhere but then many would have nothing to post about.

Only my 2007 model Sub is perfectly upright. My other models aren’t. Which funnily has always bothered me

Interesting!

That’s the way I think of it too!

I’m almost sure that if we were to zoom in microscopically, the number of perfectly aligned frowns would be almost zero

My BLNR did for about a year, until the gasket compressed. At this point it's about a quarter-circle past that for the same level of tightness.

Which, presumably, is part of the reason that it's harder to make it always line up than people seem to assume.

I like it if the Crown is perfectly vertical, but know it is very rare. My hulk is *almost* there, pointing to about 12:30 (about fifteen degrees beyond vertical). I purchased a SD43 from my AD that, through pure luck, was perfect. None of the others have been even close.

This. None of mine have, and if they did or don't, I could care less.

And for the few of you that do have them line up, I bet after the next service it wont stay that way. (SD excluded, of course).

None of the thirty or so I’ve had, including the Sky-Dweller that arrived this week. (The crown points perfectly 90 degrees clockwise.)
