my 116600 does not wind anymore

guys, my 116600 stopped working. Manual wind does not give the juice. Automatic wind does give some juice, but the watch stops soon after I stop the motion. I bought it in 2015 from an AD. I don't have the warranty card with me as I am travelling (it's at home), but is my watch 5 year warranty?

You are still covered by 5 year warranty.

Didn’t the warranty change from 3 to 5 years around 2015... might depend on your timing as mine is 2014 and pretty sure it was not 5 years then.
Am sure someone will be along to confirm shortly though.

Sorry to hear this though. Please come back and report once it is fixed as this might be something I would want to watch out for.

Depends on when you bought your watch.

The 5 year warranty started July 1, 2015. If you bought before that, the preceding year was extended to a 3 year warranty.

Sounds like a broken mainspring though. It isn't going to fix itself.

If I recall the change of warranty period changed in 2015. I hope you bought after the change and are covered. I am curious as to what happened to it.

Keep us posted and let us know.

Trip to RSC Dallas. USPS postage with full declared value is around $85 plus the cost of service.

As stated already the 5 year warranty started 7/1/2015. Hopefully bought after that date

This is wierd. I just took out the watch again from my bag and it is working... Not really sure what's going on...

Send it in anyway...

I would send it in for service anyway. Something is obvioulsy wrong inside. They will find it and correct it.

I don't think anything on the 116600 is a must retain in that anything broken or worn during service will be replaced without consulting you. If you are ok with that and on a 116600 there should be no issues retaining old patina, you should be fine. Send it in and find out what's wrong. You'll get piece of mind knowing it won't happen again. Now, you have an intermittent problem, which will show up again.

My two cents.

Disclaimer: My first post. And I don't own a Rolex. I just have some common sense.
