Icon20 Did Rolex add a coronet to the Datejust 41 below the 6oClock

Hi,

I saw a Datejust 41 126334 on Chron24 website showing a coronet(crown) below the 6 oClock. Same watch with same model on the Rolex website shows a "30" below the 6 oClock.

Did Rolex made this update by adding a coronet to Datejust 41?

Can you shed some light on this?

On some dials there is now a coronet between the Swiss and Made.

Interesting. When did this happen? My DJ41 - Dark Rhodium Jubilee Fluted (this model) does not have the coronet and is pretty new.

On dials where the chapter ring is printed with numbers every 5 minutes, there will be no crown. Once the model is updated then prolly will change to a crown at 6 o’clock.

On new models without that type of dial, the crown will be at 6 o’clock.

On diamond dials, no crown.

Just looked at myDJ and found the coronet right at the six.

Does it mean any other updates or changes on the dial of ones coming with coronet? Or any small changes in the movement? I've just received my DJ 41 blue dial as the date of 02/2019, and there is no coronet. I am not sure if it is more desirable without coronet. Any thoughts on desirability? Did you guys like this small coronet change in terms of symmetry of the dial? Thanks

There is only one dj 41 dial with a crown at 6, it’s the green slate dial with the lume mark at 9. They put crowns at 6 on dials that were made in 2018? Both versions of the Deepsea with the new movement n trimmed lugs have them as well. Only one that kinda throws a curveball into the mix is the sd43 because that’s a 2017 piece so I guess u can’t even say it’s a 2018 thing. Rolex can be confusing sometimes

Couple of crowns at 6 flicks

My new TT DJ41 champagne dial purchased at an AD has the crown below 6 o'clock between Swiss Made. See the WRUW thread from today Feb 12 to see the photo.

Very cool, I stand corrected on the 1 dial statement I made above.

The DJ41 with a MK1 dial without the crown at 6 o'clock will be the next hype...

Yes! A limited run on a very popular watch will surely get the juices flowing. Look it’s starting already.

I guess this coronet at 6 o'clock is a way of saying that it comes with the new movement. Or at least, what I see and assume, to show that it is produced in/after 2018. The interesting thing is I just received my DJ 41 blue dial yesterday, which was a special order and surprisingly took almost 2 months, and there is no coronet at 6 o'clock. New watch, new movement. It is weird:)

All it shows is when the dial was made. There's nothing to prevent a new dial from being added to a watch made of older parts, or for newer parts to get an older dial.

"Likestheshiny", thank you! Since it was a special order (waited almost 2 months), I assumed it would be produced after the order and would come with a new dial. Obviously, it doesn't work this way. Personally, I do not care if there is a coronet or not. What I actually wondered is that it seems the watch I received was in the stock since it didn't come with the new dial. I do not know why I waited two months for it if it was in the stock. It also just came to my mind, how long a watch stays in Rolex stock? If this is not a new dial, can I assume that it stayed in the stock for almost a year? Isn't it an issue to stay a long period of time without running? Anyway, I am new to TRF and I do not know about the Rolex stock procedure. Btw, sorry for my English. Thanks again.
