Always struck me as odd location (in terms of the real estate cost right on park lane) for a petrol station where she is filling up.

A lot of hyper cars flood the streets around Mayfair & Knightsbridge in the summer each year - competition must be high for unique modifications to stand out from the rest.

Why not. Served it's purpose and got her publicity which equals views which equals money. Never heard of her until today. And if you think that Lambo is all show, you're delusional. The SV is a beast at the track and has one of the fastest 'Ring laps around.
The SVJ is an absolute monster on the track and only but the pure breed race cars like the GT2 RS and the Mac 720 are delivering similar performance numbers and excitement.
