Should i add some gold to my collection?

Somehow i have the desire to add something new to my Collection. My actual Collection is an AP 15202, a PP 5167, a Rolex 116500 (White), a Rolex 126710 and a Rolex 16710.

I was thinking about adding a Gold watch. As i'm truly in love with the Royal Oak design, i am considering either the new 15500or on the leather strap or the 26331or with the blue dial on the leather strap. In both cases i would Switch the leather strap with a rubber strap.

Now my Problem is that i don't really want to add something new unless i sell some of my watches. My idea is to sell the Aquanaut and add some cash.

Which one would you sell to add a new watch or what would you do?

Any chance to add without selling? You have such a great collection. I’m very steel heavy and I think my next watch will be a 5711r. I just can’t stand to part with any so I’ll have to wait a little and suck it up and add!

You don't seem to be enjoying the PP 5167 as much as you should. You have your answer already. If it was me, I wouldn't have bought the Daytona to begin with...

I'd sell one of the Rolexes, 2 if you have to, before the PP.

i don't know why but i must be one of the few guys who don't find the aquanaut comfortable.. but i must admit i really like the stealth factor, which would be gone with a gold watch.

the Daytona is the last one i've acquired and as for now it is a keeper.

I wouldn't sell the PP. Unload one or two of the Rolex's. I did exactly what you are thinking. I got the 26331 RG and swapped it out with a rubber strap. It's a perfect combo!

I personally would get rid of the aquanaut. Even though it’s a desirable reference it just doesn’t do it for me anymore and I’d rather have other Pateks. If you don’t love it I would surely sell it to take advantage of the market.

An AP is definitely special / unique but so is the day date! I own a royal oak already in SS and just ordered a DD40 YG

well, the 16710 was my very first Rolex and the 126710 is my main watch for work. the 116500 is the only one i can see letting go, due to no wrist time. but then i again i have stopped wearing my 16710 since i received the 126710..

I also agree with selling the Rolex watches for it.. unless of course you really don't wear the aqua at all then sure why not

I think it looks great and looks like you are happy to have 2 ROs over the PP... question is what are you going to do with the khaki strap if you sell it? Worth a fair bit altho you could sell it here at mates rates.
