Of course any 44mm (well that doesn't count the new white--I'll ignore that one) is nothing short of amazing--but that new Grey combo just pops, and gives the 44mm the contrast it needed from all black |

If I am going to get an SS ROO this year it will be one of those two. What do you think?:

Interesting--why do you say that?
I have 44mm FC and I love it. But, the new 44mm in grey has more color variation to it. However, I must say the FC is stealth. So I guess it's just personal choice. Did I mention I have that grey ____ Soly my vote is all black over blue to answer your question. |

As per the Hodinkee website, the 42 models will hit retailers in April 2014! That's pretty early!

I really hope they release 42mm with ceramic or rubber bezel + display caseback.
I want a rose gold rubberclad with display caseback. That would satisfy my watch buying for the next 2 years.

Haven't post in a while but saw the new 44mm dial and fell in love. I doubt AP would do this but check out what the new dial would look like in the FC case with a little photochop! I like it!

I think the black/red will look nicer in person (pure guess). I have a blue 15400 and love it, but if the new blue ROO is anything like the Navy, I fear it may seem like a good idea at first, and then not look as great live on your wrist.
I have seen some pics that the blue ROO looks amazing, and some not so much. The black/red I can't foresee any surprises. I look forward to seeing both at the boutique! |
