I´d only be worried when your 5167 stops making these sounds.

Perfectly normal and I love it. I often find myself spinning it right next to my ear when I need a little pick-me-up. I also find that it makes the winding mechanism of my Rolex and AP a bit crude and brutish, haha.

how loud is it, out of curiosity?

do you need to be in a silent room/in bed etc? or could it be heard by for instance someone sitting next to you at a meeting?

If you are listening for it you can hear it. Someone sitting next to you might hear it if the room was quiet. It's subtle, but once you notice it you start picking up on it more often.

I just bought a 5167 last week. I find myself lifting it up to my ear throughout the day to hear the sound. I love it.

As others have said, it's perfectly normal. Unacceptable on a high-end piece from one of the world's top manufacturers (IMO)....but normal nonetheless.
