Love the Milwaukee beers, having gone to school in Wisconsin, but in Minnesota, it has to be Grain Belt today, Hamm's in the past.

Used to get cases of Kirin in 12 oz cans from the 99 Ranch Asian supermarket, when they were on sale regularly for $6.99 per 12-pack. Even with sales tax and 5 cents per can additional for CA redemption value, it still clocked in at less than 70 cents per can. Much better than Budweiser or Coors........

Kirin has a nice dry profile. Great for pairing with food I find as it doesn’t screw with your palate too much. I always get it at the local Japanese spot.

We used to get Olde E High Gravity. If you’re going down that road, might as well really go for it!

Doesn't though.

A special warning not to mix liquor afterwards.

Funny, I’m enjoying a Coors Banquet right now.

I’ve spent a lot on beers over the years, and I do appreciate a quality brew. But honestly, getting past the hype and markup, Coors Banquet (NOT THE LIGHT) is quite nice. Ice cold or “cellar temperature”, it always hits the spot.

I have also enjoyed PBR in the past, but I feel the Banquet is a more rounded profile and has a much longer heritage. And not owned by the Russian mafias, though that is not a big influence on my purchase decision, the taste is.

And the local stop n shop has it cold.

On a hot day the backyard hydration is Coors light. Like sex in a canoe...F-ing close to water. 🍻

I was a strict corona light guy for a while but lately Miller lite has been hitting the spot for me. Can drink a sixer and not get any sort of hangover. Lol

Hard to pass up any cold beer on a hot summer day. I'd stick with the light beers as you can drink plenty over the course of a few hours - oddly enough the more you have the better they taste

Favorite cheap backyard beer

Since I’ve got to watch sugar/carbs this has become my first grab to drink beer choice (2.6g carbs)
