While I’m waiting for my BLRO…

My AD put me on their list earlier in the year. From experience, when my AD says I’m on a list, I get the watch. They’ve never been full of BS about lists and waits. Obviously we’re talking years not months.

Meanwhile, I’m been badgering Bamford to do a Pepsi or Coke version of their rather gorgeous London GMT (Sellita SW330-1 movement). I went as far as to say that if they made one, I would buy it on sight. Yesterday they called my bluff.

My wife will now spirit it away and I will try to forget all about it until my Birthday next month. The Bamford London GMT is a nice little (40mm and thin) under the radar and under the cuff watch. Apart from the overall post retro styling, which appeals to me, the rotatable bezel is under the sapphire. It’s operated by the second crown at 10. I'm not putting it up for Pope or anything, just sharing.

I already have a black one. They are good for not showing off when I speak to some clients. If they see a Rolex, assuming they don’t classify it as a fake, some people equate it with being overcharged by the wearer. People can be so odd. But needs must.

Very nice Harry! I'm not familiar with Bamford so looks like I got some studying to do. I love that case shape.

That’s a cool looking watch, almost looks like a Seiko turtle in terms of case design.

Congratulations

Interesting piece. Looks similar to the Seiko turtle.

I like the fact its not something you see often. Enjoy.
