1680 and 16808 yellow gold bracelets interchangable?

Hi All,

I have just purchased a yellow gold 1680 head only (5mil s/n). I'm looking for an appropriate gold bracelet, and from what I can find it would be an unmarked oyster diver (92908 came later, and 9290/8 appears to be a bit too early). Since these are basically impossible to find, I'm wondering if I can use a 92908 bracelet that comes on 16808's or 16618's. Will the solid endlinks be a problem? I know that even within the 92908's there are "pin" bracelets and "screw" bracelets -- I assume the bracelets that use screws are the more desirable?

Thanks for the input

I'm relatively new here, but I have been researching similar topics. I think the early 92908 are essentially the same as the 9290/8, and use tube/pin construction in the removable links. All the numbered parts on the parts sheet are the same. I've read that the 92908 are labeled, the 9290/8 are not. The later 92908A have screws.

Probably too late to help, but will perhaps help someone in the future.
