One more GMT 16750
Sunday in the office is dangerous for looking at watches...
Love your thoughts about this 16750, and has anyone dealt with Angela on the Vintage Forums before? Thanks guys, Nic http://www.network54.com/Forum/20767...26gt%3B%243750 |

Nicer deal with papers. I still like the matte dial...
but if you can pick it up for 3500-3750 or so you will have a nice trans. 16750 plastic crystal with B&P. IMHO

It has a replacement dial. The original dial should be be tritium. The price is very reasonable as it it is tough to find one of these 16750's with the original warranty paper. An original dial should cost no more than $300 and are available on ebay and other markets. In my opinion, an original 16750 with the warranty paper, boxes and booklets under $4000 is a great deal. The watch, if correct would bring $4500 on up, based on condition and accessories.

Too bad the serial# isn't a few notches lower. Would have...
been a nice candidate for a complete matte dial set....

Hi guys, what era dial do you think this is? I have looked at both the 16760 and 16710 and they seem to have the familiar swiss made, not swiss?
Cheers, Nic |

Err buddy Nico...let it passed...
The Dial is a recent replacement...LUMINOVA. The Hands look like LUMINOVA replacement too... The bracelet has been re-polished...n heavily on its buckle...especially. Not a good deal...considering a correct Tritium WG Glossy Dial would cost... upto USD500...n the cost for correct Tritium hands would escalate more... in order to make it...period correct. |
