Opinions on HYT?

I was at a high end watch store yesterday and saw these HYT in person. When I used to see them online I would laugh to myself about how crazy they look. But after seeing them in person I do appreciate certain models. Im a younger collector and admittedly still have lots to learn. Im curious your opinions...in terms of design, function and do you see a brand like this sticking around? Or having a short life and being something that is laughed at in the years too come. Topics like this interest me for many reasons. I think the watch is cool, and I also have notices with social media becoming so big. Weird things tend to take off. I have seen it with cars and also clothing. Sorry of this if this is in the wrong section. But I wanted to read rolex owners opinions for the most part.

As an engineer, I appreciate the technical aspects and innovation. I think they are more a novelty than a watch I would purchase and wear long term. A piece to own, wear occasionally and show my WIS friends over a few drinks, sure.

I like how they look but they are too expensive.

I think they're cool, fascinating, & lovely little pieces of engineering. Would I ever aspire to own one? Absolutely not. Not my style or price range.

Very cool. Love it when manufactures think outside the box

Cool watches, but I just worry when they need service do you just take them to a plumber?

Awesome watches. Been following the company for years. Love the design and technology. So much cooler than some other lame “haute” brands.
