The Pelagos 39 is basically (I'm not saying this pejoratively) a titanium BB58, so wouldn't the BB58 be what you're after?

Yes, with a pen eraser, something like this (blue side only):

light scratches and marks come out completely. There is a thread on another forum with before and after pictures but I am not sure if I can link to that.

Black bays are nothing like the pelagos. Just look at the round VS square markers, or crown guards. SS pelagos would be great.

I find the Pelagos design more thought-through myself but the Pelagos 39 lacks most of the distinctive Pelagos traits, such as the special clasp.

I'm saying that model is functionally a version of the Black Bay 58, except with a Pelagos style dial in titanium.

I do think this is possible (I would anticipate a Harrods special edition possibly) but at some stage we will see a double red text Pelagos - further referencing the Sea-Dweller.
