My wrist actually got smaller even though I lifted a lot of weight so I just tweaked my watch collection a bit to get better/smaller fitting watches. ie…GMT instead of a Sub.
I still have big watches like all my Panerai and I love them but I made my Rolex collection fit my wrist better like a Daytona, GMT, etc…

FYI: I would be writing this from prison without any watches if my wife had a boyfriend, (may he rest in peace).

Why would you go after the boyfriend? She would just as guilty for getting involved. No one put a gun to her head and kidnapped her. BYW, she would be doing you a favor, who the hell wants a wife with eyes for other men??

I've always admired the robust elegance of the Sea-Dweller, and recently, I’ve been fortunate enough to call one my own. But here’s the thing - my wrist seems too slender for such a thicc watch.

My goal now is to develop my wrist and forearm to give the Sea-Dweller the presence it deserves. I’ve started a dedicated fitness routine focusing on wrist and forearm strength. From weight lifting to grip exercises, I’m committed to making my watch look as perfect on my wrist as it was designed to be. At the same time, I am going to gain 45 lbs at least in order to get my wrist to at least 8 inches.

Acquiring the Sea-Dweller wasn't an overnight affair. It taught me the virtue of patience, something that's often overlooked in our fast-paced world. Waiting for the right moment to get this watch mirrored the meticulous care and patience that go into making every Rolex. Interestingly, the story of how this watch came into my life is a bit unique. It was through my wife's boyfriend, who works as an authorized dealer, that I got introduced to this beauty. He provided invaluable insights into what makes this watch special; making the acquisition of the Sea-Dweller even more special. What fascinates me most about Rolex, and the Sea-Dweller in particular, is the impeccable attention to detail. This has inspired me to be more detail-oriented in my own life. Whether it's in my fitness routine, my professional endeavors, or even in my personal relationships, the precision that goes into every Rolex watch reminds me to uphold the same standard in every aspect of my life.

Now, I turn to you, the community. I'm curious to know if any of you have gone through similar transformations for your watches. Have you ever changed something about yourself to better suit your Rolex? Your stories and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Eager to hear your thoughts and experiences!
Open relationship, I presume?

Maybe if you weren't so busy trying to make your forearms bigger, your wife wouldn't need a boyfriend.

My suggestion for a breakfast-lunch-dinner routine in this case would be:

1. Monday- MCDonalds
2. Tuesday- Dunkin’ Donuts
3. Wednesday- Wendy’s
4. Thursday- Subway
5. Friday- Burger King
6. Saturday- Domino’s
7. Sunday (cheat day)- Go through Steps 1-6 in one day!

Most important Rule: DO NOT burn calories unnecessarily!

This plan, will make reaching your desired weight in no time, a piece of cake.

Your wife's boyfriend didn't happen to shout out 'box and papers Bro, box and papers!' and ask if you wanted to try on some women's clothes did he?

You wanna get one of these.
Work your forearms daily and in a few weeks your wrists will be bigger than 12 inches, making the SeaDweller look quite tiny.

Gaining 45lbs may likely:

- Increase your risk for Diabetes
- Increase your risk of Coronary heart disease/Stroke.
- Increase your chances of having Obstructive Sleep Apnea
- Increase your chances of Back problems as you age
- Decrease your life expectancy.

All of these negative health implications, for a Watch?
You could add erectile dysfunction to the list.

I would get overall more muscular. Even if you have a small wrist a large watch may not look out of the place if you are overall a sturdy guy. Ppl rarely pay attention to your wrists besides in watch forums.

I actually went the opposite way. My wirst and hand are too big for Dayton’as or nautiluses so I went down the surgical way to reduce my left hand and left forearm.
That way I can wear small and élégant watches on the left and bigger ones on the right when I desire.
The best décision I made of my entire life beside creating an account here.

I think ones' wrist size is a result of the bone structure one is born with.

Developing muscles in the hands/forearms will make the watch look smaller though.

Anecdotally, not sure I agree. I'm sure you're primarily correct.

That said..

I tore my bicep in the gym a few years ago on my left arm pretending my 50 y/o joints and ligaments were still 20. It required surgery and the recovery was more difficult and lengthy than I anticipated. I atrophied up pretty bad compared to pre injury.

All my watches with bracelets that fit well became noticeably and visibly loose. My speedy became unwearable as it started to easily slide left and right. I'm so lazy, instead of removing a link, it's just been sitting there until I get back to close to where I was.
