How can I upload higher resolution photos? Had to downgrade the original.

The pic was taken as the date changed ;)

Not size but focus and clarity ; )

Looks like a nice dial, could be a great dial. Take photo in shade next to sunlight, with phone at least 6 inches from watch

Good to know on date change.

Love these Tudor Subs! I'm hunting for one with snowflake hands. Seeing mostly offerings with suspect inserts. Looking for all original, regardless of condition. This thread inspires me to keep going!

Haha I know! I just got the insert and haven’t fitted yet. I’ll post a shot when it’s done and the tritium pip is in!

Cheers

Has anybody ever seen a Tudor 79190 with a completely unsigned caseback?

I've found one for sale and I've never seen this before. The ad is also claiming that it has original luminova hands, but with an original tritium dial.

No, never seen anything (original) like that.

I have seen plenty of part collections being touted as original.

Post some dial photos if you don’t mind. I bet those hands are aftermarket.

Merry Christmas!

Yup, that's what I thought. I actually messaged the guy saying how I've never seen a unsigned Tudor caseback and that tritium and luminova parts were never mixed and matched from the factory.

I'm not even interested in the watch. I just keep my alerts on WatchRecon because I'm looking for a blue 79190 so I look at everyone that pops up. I felt like I needed to say something to the guy because he's either misinformed or selling falsehoods. He just blew me off claiming since it's from the era where they switched maybe they had some leftover dials and paired them with new hands.
