Holiday starts with new PAMs

Yesterday was the last working day before the 7-day National Holiday in China. I recevied a call from the Panerai Boutique regarding their new arrivals. As a result, I have got two new PAMs -- 029 and 366

I love the 029.

The 366 simply shows my support to the first PAM with Chinese character. It is also the cheapest PAM in China being a few hundreds cheaper than the 00 which gives me another reason to buy it.

"Fu" IS THE CHINESE CHARACTER THAT REPRESENTS GOOD FORTUNE AND HAPPINESS. PEOPLE IN CHINA HAVE BEEN USING DECORATIONS OF "Fu" ON THEIR FRONT DOORS SINCE THE TIME OF SOUTHERN SUNG DYNASTY.

In short, "Fu" really means luck.

I was told that the first batch of 420 should arrive at end of Oct or early Nov. Hope this will happen soon. I guess that all of us will be rushing in and drop down our hard earned $$$ then.

Yes, it will likely be first call first buy, one per person per day basis.

What a way to start a holiday! The 029 is very unique with the centered seconds hand.

Yes, this is what I believe and that covers China and Hong Kong (being one of its special administrative region. Not sure if it will be available in Taiwan as well?

It's definitely being distributed by the HK boutiques as I just saw one today in the Prince's Building which was already reserved...
