"For a poor man of exquisite taste" ?

I'm not sure you understand what being "poor" entails

This is meant to be tongue-in-cheek with respect to the "poor man's Rolex" saying...

My Tudor Heritage Advisor was $4400 after a $2K+ discount from a LV AD.

Posts like this is why I take extended time away from this forum from time to time, even though watches are my biggest hobby/passion.

So anyone who can "only" afford a ~$4,000 luxury watch is poor? Really?

Look at one of my previous comments and all will be clear.

P.S. I'll give you a hint: sarcasm.

C'mon people what's all the attitude.

Tudor has been known as the poor mans's Rolex since forever.

The OP is merely using the line to make a tongue in cheek fake ad about that and the fact that you can't seem to find Rolexs in stores these days.

Lighten up.

Yes, I'm a Rolex junkie but Tudor is so good. Hard to disagree with that quality at that price point.

couldn't agree more. there's another massive watch-related forum filled with standoffish thin-skinned band-wagon-jumping virtue-signalers for that kind of stuff. what's truly comical is when members judge other members by virtue of post count. glad that's all a rarity here.

tudors have always been our favorite of the rolex line and their recent line-up of models are outstanding.

Indeed. I own a 116600 and was in the market for another Rolex, but the waiting lists have become so silly that I looked at Tudor and ended up buying a NOS 79220n. Expecting a FedEx delivery tomorrow
