Are Habring watches worth the price?

Hello,
I was wondering whether anybody had any experience and/or stories to share about Habring watches? Are they worth the price? Is there anything truly unique about their watches?
Thanks!

I don't but you might want to check out watchprosite.com. Use their search function. Habring watches seem to be minor site favorites there.

Cheers
Marc

I have a Habring2. But was gifted to me. So dont know the price.

It’s a split second watch and the movement/complication seems robust.

It also has my name engraved on the movement (the cock i understand).

What is the definition of "worth?" Is it worth to have a gem conceived by a master watchmaker who dedicated most of his life to the craft? If you consider Habring in the light of the other independence with similar pedigree, then yes, the price is okay given all other variables involved.

I would love to have the doppel. I’m a huge fan of Habring’s innovation since his IWC days. Unfortunately the dials and hands of the Habring2 watches aren’t my style at all. If they ever make a sporty looking version I’ll be all over it.

habring was nowhere on my radar and now i want one. seems like a very cool company, extra parts for servicing etc. just shot them an email about customization, would be neat to get one with an engraving for my bday.

I know very little of the plight of "Independents" but have developed a tremendous respect for both the Habrings as well as Independents in general after watching this NY lecture

This is one to watch when you have a (completely free) hour to spare and a cup / glass of your favorite
