Nauti Choice

A nautical theme for the weekend. Wedding by the lakeshore, nice dinner, boat ride tomorrow. Only have room for one of these, which would you take?

Although I would always wear a dress watch for a wedding.

Olive! I dislike having the 1976-2016 lettering on the dial. But congratulations on owning all 3!

Interesting how the metal of the green one is looking yellowish compared to the blue one on the left. Is there any noticeable difference IRL?

As to your first world problem... Simple man in me would pick the good old blue one.

I didn't notice a yellow hue on the metal IRL, as for the dials the SS Blue and Green have distinctive shades of grey and the colors change dramatically and impressively depending on how the light falls, the blue dial on the 40th is punchier. Nothing wrong with the good old blue one though.

Yeah, I knew it. We are going to need two watches, one for the formal proceedings and one for the fun and games!

If you're going to be on a lake in Florida in the summer perhaps your choice should be determined by the algae level and color. My mother lived in Savannah and, at this time of year, the green would have been most appropriate. It seems like the Anniversary edition would be more suitable for a Caribbean wedding while the standard 5711 is a good choice for Lake Michigan.

Congrats for having the P and the green!

Frankly any of these pieces will be fine.

Voted 40th Anniversary but any of the three would be great. Very nice.

I want to change my vote to "None of the Above" since none of these three look like they've ever been worn.
