Is your city safe?

Do you live in a safe enviroment? Can you wear your Rolex safe from beeing robbed? I ask this because we have a lot of members living all over the world and this could be a red light or a green meaning, yes, you are safe wearing your Rolex in my town. For instance, I live in São Paulo wich is the mos important city in Brasil and is very dangerous to wear a Rolex here. They have gangs specialized on Rolexes. What I usualy do is, I put my watch in my pocket and when I get to the place/building I'm suppose to go when I get to the elevator I wear my watch. It's terrible but this is how we deal with this situation. When I used to live in Manhattan I had no worries. How about you, where do you live and is it safe?

I live in Plymouth and must say 95% here would not have a clue what a Rolex looks like and muggings are very rare.

The village of Glenfinnan is very safe unless the Kurgans are out and about wreaking havoc!

The locals can be a bit unfriendly if they think you are in league with Lucifer, though!

My area is safe enough but one still has to have situational awareness at all times when out of the car.

I live in the Dallas, Texas USA metro area, and it is according where you go and the time of day. We had a lady mugged for her ring recently in the parking lot of a shopping area that is normally thought of as safe.

I am always aware of my surroundings without regard to wearing a watch.

Unless you live in Tornado ally where the hail stones are big as baseballs it's hard to understand.

I live in Belgrade, Serbia. Despite prejudices that somebody could have about Eastern Europe, it`s very safe over here, even in those "bad" quarters. It`s like no one give a darn about watch that you wear.

In Halifax Nova Scotia, Canada it depends on what part of town your in. Some areas are completely safe to wear a Rolex and other areas not so. I suspect most cities are the same.
