Roger, how do you like that 911? A friend of mine who works at an auto dealership has an 06 in almost new condition that he would give me a REMARKABLE deal on. He's been hassling me to come drive it and at the price he's indicating, I would definitely be willing to part ways with the M3. Thoughts?

I'm very partial to the 993 also! The pinnacle of Porsche air cooled technology. I've since gone to the water cooled ones but I still love the heart and soul of air cooling. To me, they are still the most exciting feeling Porsche's of all.

Graph shows stock power on 0.9 bar before modification. 228 kW.
You can see how rich it was running (11.8 - 10.6 AFR) prior to taking fuel out with the Apexi FC (12.1 - 11.8 AFR). The timing was advanced as far as we could go on 98 RON fuel. How good is your fuel in SA.
I have done 20000km since these mods were done and it has been
293kw on the wheels is remarkable.Thats about 440kw at the crank.Nice 28.5% gain above stock, wih the computer and exhaust.
A/F ratio of 12 usually,in the right area. With my quadbike 13:1 gave the most horses. It varies with each type of engine and altitude. We are at 1450m above sealevel.
At sealevel we have 98RON and at the highveld we have 95Ron.Dragtesting showed that on my quadbike, the following proved the quickest ... 11:1 compression engine with 4*advance ignition timing and 95RON.With all the engine mods got a 56% increase above stock hp.Best time of 15.202s over the 1/4 mile@1450m altitude(15-18% powerloss, compared to sealevel)Altitude correction factor for sealevel time = 14.299s
On my 2003 BMW 330d stock is 135kw and 390Nm torque.Installed a DASTEK chip and got 151kw and 480Nm of torque.Have done 95000km with the chip
