Optical Illusion - The Two Tables
This is one of the more striking optical illusions.
The two table tops are the same size and shape, believe it or not. You can prove it by marking out and cutting out a piece of paper from one and fitting it over the other. Even when you prove that the table tops are exactly the same your brain doesn't believe it. The left table will always look massively narrower than the right.

I showed the tables to my wife and she slapped the snot out of me. Later on I asked her what is up with the head slap. She stated that now she knows I have been lying to her when she asks, "hey Bubba, does my butt look big in these jeans".

I think you all may need glasses, as those are not the same size! Get out your rulers...

Looking at this picture and trying to rationalize that both objects are the same size brings this quote to mind: "Having a unique perspective gives you a greater insight!" Isn't that so TRUE!

I keep a tape measure in my purse - it always comes in handy! Usually for measuring the inseams of childrens pants.

Rotate the table on the right 90 degrees to change the perspective.

The lengths seemed to have gone out of kilter but when you consider it's the table width that gives the greatest illusion it still works, sort of. Anyway I offer I 100% money back guarantee on all purchases.
