I was gifted this 5512 / 4 line gilt, chapter ring, PCG
I was gifted this Rolex 5512 from my Uncle. Can someone help me confirm the date, style, tulip? I own 3 late model Rolex's, but am not familiar with the vintage watches.
I THINK that this is a 1961 from online research / the serial number is 9634xx / PCG / gilted top 2 of 4 lines: COSC / gilted chapter ring is in good shape, the hands show age, but still decent, it came with a replacement band as my Uncle broke it on a construction site (I may just buy a cool leather band as I see originals go for big bucks). Movement works sometimes, but is not consistent. I need to get a clean and tune. The second hand "grabs" and moves the minute hand if jostled around sometimes. Sitting flat it keeps good time, so hopefully not too damaged. Opinions or help is greatly appreciated. Thank You. |

Sorry, this one was not approved quickly and I did not think it would make it. So, I reposted and wasn't patient enough.
How do I delete this one entirely? Any ideas....thanks. |
