Unusual or rare dial??
Hello,
I recently had this watch looked over at an authorized dealer as well as an independant watch servicing center. Everyone who saw it remarked that the dial was unusual. Its not just a Buckley. As you can see there are silver "stick" markers above the Roman numerals. Buckley's seem to have just the numerals without the markers. Does anyone here know how rare or common this face is? Thank you for any and all help! Cheers, -Nicholas rolex.jpg |

I think you'll find that dial is later than the 1970s. That smaller Roman dial started on the Date in the late 90s and carried through the 14000M airking and 114200 airking.
