Correct Rolex Bezel on vintage 14k gold watch?
Has Rolex ever made a factory bezel for a vintage late 50's 14K model 1005 that was jagged looking? It is not smooth or fluted and the only bezels I have ever seen have smooth bezel and fluted on the models 1005, 1002 and 1003 but not jagged. The bezel looks like it is old and matches the color of the gold case so it probably dates to around the time the watch was made. Can't seem to find a pic anywhere of one so I think it was probably added later and not factory Rolex. Any thoughts or opinions would be helpful. Thanks.
