1968 5513

Hello,

This is my Rolex. There are many like it, but this one is mine........

It has a service replacement dial and hands dated 1970

the bracelet is also dated 1970.

Ive owned it for 2 years now and on checking with Rolex it was dismantled cleaned and reassembled, no major parts replaced. the only advisory is the dial is beginning to deteriorate.

any comments greatly appreciated

all the best "H"

Thanks Fella, it took 5 years of buying and selling Avia's and other cool junk to get the funds together, but well worth the wait.

Very nice example....of all my Rolex watches, my 5513 still remains and always has been, my favorite reference....the simplicity of the dial is just perfection in every way....your patience of buying and selling to acquire that beauty paid off my friend....welcome

Hello, and thank you, I did take my time and dismissed others that came along, I wasn't put off by the service dial as that's part of its history / journey, also this was the only one that came along on budget with a recent service from Rolex (that I was advised cost £600)

now the issue is.... Id like to add another to my collection...... I'm currently working on funds,

Many thanks "H"
