My new 16550

Thought I'd post a couple pictures of my first 16550. Was looking hard at a 16570 but once I saw this one with my birthyear I couldn't resist! Wish the lume had a little more color to it but What can you do. Let me know what you guys think!

A white gold wedding ring would complement the watch nicely.

Really like the 16550, the cream dials are crazy prices but do look amazing..
I have been looking at early Explorer II's and quite fancy a 16550 black dial with aged lume, goes really well with the bigger font bezel.

Very Nice! Congratulations! I am a 16550 fan too but just a little on the cream side...

Very Nice find....wearing my 16570 Polar as I type this.....it has turned out to be one of my favorites, and it looks great on any type of strap!

Yes I am really enjoying it. Very underrated watch, wish I had got one a lot sooner. Also would have liked the cream but the prices were crazy and just bought the wife a DJ so was a little hard to convince my self to spring for the cream. Just put it on this Everest green strap but actually really enjoyed wearing the bracelet. I have worn my sub for the past ten year almost exclusively on a bond nato and love it that way, but after wearing the oyster for a few days I realize I might have gone wrong on this rubber strap

For a fresh look during the summer, I have mine on a white Rubber Everest Strap.
