V Series LV Sub or Random Series 39mm Explorer I ??
Greetings! I'm trying to decied whether to trade a NIB Random Series Explorer I plus some extra $$ for a V-Series LV Sub. I've had the Sub LV before (M series) and don't know why I sold it while I've never owned an Explorer. I like the Explorer as it has the newer movement with the parachrome blue hairspring as well as better lume. However, the Sub has the date and a bezel that I could use to time things (not diving as I've given that up a long time ago).
Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated. Cheers, Jonathan. |

LV without a doubt. For me, it is just a much more interesting watch. Love a diver.
It also has the blue hairspring. Not that there is anything wrong with the previous variant hairspring.

if you are a minimalist, or you don't think you are going to like the green bezel, then keep the 39mm Exp.
Otherwise, LV all the way |

Since you no longer scuba dive, don't buy the Submariner. If you are a mountain climber buy the Explorer.
