Another "This is my new Datejust" thread, but not really...
I just had my custom end links from Etur (Eugene) installed on my Datejust 116233 (vintage dial). The end links are amazing and fit perfectly. I got a pretty thick leather strap so the links are held in really well, absolutely no movement at all.
Eugene was amazing. Answered all of my questions and even put the end links on for me after I couldn't do it myself. He met me and was even able to do a bit of work (on the spot) on the end links to get them to fit better. I'm absolutely pleased with the result. Just like with everyone else whose gotten some of these end links, it's like having a new watch. Enjoy! Scott front1.jpg front2.jpg side1.jpg side2.jpg back1.jpg back2.jpg |

congrats on the "new" watch! yup! i have the same endlinks as well. the problem with thick straps is that the end links rub away the straps because of the tight fit. i ended up buying thinner straps for that reason.

Sweet! I'm curious about the center part - Is it gold or gold plate, gold color? If it's gold, I'm in serious trouble!

Eugene told me that it was gold plate, .4 mm thick. Said I'd be able to polish it a couple of times if needed. Definitely better than the micro-plating that you see on other items.
