D serial 16613 lumes changing colors??

My dad has a D serial 16613 submariner. He called me the other day and said he just noticed two of the lumes (at the and one and two o clock) position, have changed from their white color to a slightly tan color...all other lumes remain white...

Has anybody else experienced anything similar to this before?

I do not have any pics at this time, but intend on getting some later. Just wanted to know your opinions.

I had the watch serviced for him a month or so ago...not sure why this would effect the dial???

How old is the watch? Is the lume color under daylight conditions or in the dark? Lume may be wearing out.
