Real or Memorex . . .
While at an estate sale preview I came across a ROLEX model 1601 serial number in the low 5 million range, curious if legit and if so what the value range might be...

I would say its not real. Isn't dripping in quality as a Rolex typically is. Maybe a better pic would change my opinion but right now I would say it screams fake

The stone at 6 appears closer to the one at 5 than to the one at 7. Certainly the dial has been made by a drunken person named Dave.

I'm beginning to think that this wasn't fair to Memorex.....
In any event - it was near impossible to even get this photo, having had to shoot through two layers of glass shelving. Not venturing anything on this watch, just happened to see it and was curious.
