Tudor Incoming, with a question
Picked up a 94210 recently and love it. The matte black dial just sings to me; lume plots are the warmest color I've seen on a Big Block.
Question: The crown seems to pull out very far in position 2. It's running perfectly. Also I do not see a gasket on the case tube. Is something amiss here? I was planning to have a vintage shop in town take a look, but thought I'd ask the experts first. The watch is returnable. |

That looks like a 702 crown which does not have an ORing - it was the first Triplock but did not have the Oring over the tube like the 703 triplock. Does the crown have the three dots? What year is the watch, late 70s? If so you are probably OK
I have not had a Big Block - though it is on my list - but have had plenty of Tudors with the 702 crown.

So does a 702 Triplock makes sense for 1984?

Nice! 79170? I just sold mine last week. Still have his brother though.
