Considering this 1971 1675. Need insight from the experts on authenticity and originality and if possible the fair USD price.

No box or papers. With 7838/380 oyster bracelet.

Bracelet and end links as expected - although I think that 280 links would be more likely, for an early 70s 7836 bracelet. The bezel insert maybe later, because I would've expected one with a slightly fatter font. That being said, the overall condition of the watch and dial are very good, so it's possible to have a bezel insert without much say to it.

To get the most comprehensive the valuation, you also want to ask to see the case back inside, as well as the numbers between 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock logs, this will help give you a more objective evaluation of the condition of the watch. The real thing you're looking for is consistency of condition. If the case is very crisp, and the numbers between the lugs are exceptionally sharp, well defined, and have very little wear on them, then you would expect the bezel and its insert to similarly be in like new condition. Also ask for a shot of the movement, and note the condition of the caseback inside, as well as threads and o-ring groove surface on the inside of the mid case. You're looking to see that no evidence of corrosion this present here as well. And finally, serial number range somewhere I think in the neighborhood of about 2.8 to 3,600,000, with the caseback dated 72-74, give or take a year, for a mark II dial. @springer can probably correct my number range a little for me. But these are the things you're looking for.

Overall, the dial itself, and hands, look great.

Looks like there is a dent and split in the bezel insert across the 10 marker numerals. Not a big deal but to be noted.

Yup, that's a Mark 2 dial and looks clean. As others have said ask about case back, serial no, year on case back, year on bracelet etc.

For reference, I just picked up a Long E Mark 1 dial 2 weeks ago with Jubilee bracelet. You can find my thread here.

Check this thread out. An absolute must when buying a 1675. The dials change depending on the serial number range.

The experts will need more pics to assess the lugs, bracelet, endlinks and clasp and, as g-boac observed above, if you can get a pic of the caseback -even better

As for what I can see all good except the insert, its definitely a replacement. If you are buying from a dealer, as opposed to an individual, they might have a different insert you could select...
