milgauss too thick

So I just got in my milgauss z blue and it isnt exciting me like my first rolex ever the black milgauss...probably bc that was my first. Luckily it is returnable or I can exchange. It just has too much going on and it is just too thick for a 3 hand watch. I have the 16610lv and love it, the ss daytona black and love it, and the batman and love it. So here is where I stand either the sd4k(but I would need to see thickness pics comparing the thickness of the milgauss to the sd4k) and would take a thicker dive watch if it is about as thick as the milgauss. Or the 3 in one 16710 gmt. If anyone has pics comparing sizes please post bc my ad has a small inventory.

There is a reason why the Milgauss is that thick given the intended purpose. There will be several comments to follow this about that.

The SDc will be thicker than your LV as well again for the intended purpose (depth rating/helium release valve).

Best to try these on in person before ordering anything. Pictures on the web are very misleading.

But, there is no difference in thickness between it and your black Milgauss.

There is no difference in the cases of the black and z-blue, so it's a bit perplexing that you are surprised by the z-blue.

The SD will be as thick and will feel heavy. The depth rating has more to do with crush depth than seal integrity, which means the crystal and metal case are thicker and more robust. It will feel a lot heavier on your wrist than a sub.

You need to spend some time at another AD trying these on in person before you buy something you see online.

The Milgauss is a bit thick, but of the pieces I own it's the most comfortable -- by far.

It shouldn't be thicker or heavier than your other Milgauss, but as you've already got the black model maybe it's a bit redundant in your collection?

Yea it is quite thicker than other models in the current line up but definitely very comfortable. I guess it really depends what you compare it to

I think the OP is just used to thinner watches at this point. Given a full day or two on the wrist that can quickly change.

Milwaukee is kinda thicker than equivalent Rolex watches in same size. Don't ever consider of Air King ♔ 116600,it's thicker too. It's due to magnetic cage. I had worn both watches and never felt thick to me

I know by many standards the Milgauss isn't exceptionally thick but for a refined reference, this has always been my issue with the piece. I had a black dial GV model for about a year before I flipped it because it never sat correctly on my wrist. I did not find the piece as comfortable as some of my other models. I always found it beautiful. Now that I own a few more pieces I may revisit this reference.

Yeah...I don't get it, either. Regardless, I echo those who suggest you try on whatever it is you're looking at to prevent this sort of issue again.

Yes it's all relative, my Rolexes lie amongst the slimmer end of my collection.

to clear things up, I had the black milgauss 6 years ago, it was my first rolex bc I just fell in love with the watch more than the brand as i started researching the brand I found all the others I had to have so I sold the black one and started to fall in love with the brand, was in an ad and was tring on some, definately no to the dssd but never re tried on the milgauss bc I didnt think I needed too so I bought one online on a whim...now im in the situation I'm in, either keep it or return it and use the money to shop for something else and I am somewhat torn

i wear my daytona a lot and know how thick my sub is so when i un boxed it, I was like holy @#$% was this watch really this big 6 years ago, and yes i know the answer, just got used to others, one more question, to those that own ap, patek, and other high end watches, where does the milgauss stand in thickness

I love so much about my black dial GV. The size of the dial is quite large compared to a sub despite being 40mm in width overall. However, the thickness is getting to me. Thinking about selling to get a new DJ36 with oyster bracelet.

Another small point is that the bracelet narrows into quite a small width to fit into what is probably a standard easy link clasp. So the bracelet is sort of too small around back. Not a big problem though.
