Should I........?
I already own a TT Sub black dial and its also my first Rolex. I don't wear this at work because I think its flashy and I don't get time to wear it as most of the time I am at work and also I'm never gonna sell it but I want to wear something fine i.e Rolex @ work
So I was thinking to go for steel sub black dial. Is it a good idea to keep two SUBs one with steel and another one with TT |

I prefer three handed watches - hour, minutes, seconds. Simple and easy to read. It's all up to you but you might look at one of the other SS models (GMT, Explorer, Milgauss). Anyway you go you will not go wrong.

Id say go for an explorer over another submariner. The explorer wont get noticed nearly as much, and looks equally at home dressed up or down.

Get a green sub.
If you want the black sub, trade the TT black sub for the TT blue sub. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

I'd wear the TT Sub you already have to work. Chances are really good no one will notice.

If you think the TT sub is too flashy for work...then you prolly should consider another brand. I can't really see the difference between the TT and a regular SS sub. It's just as flashy.

I had a tt blue sub and a no date. Loved having two subs. That said, I'd probably move away from another black dial. Green dialed sub is easy or yachtmaster 1 among others but polished center links are noticeable.

I would pick up the ND Sub or to change it up a Hulk. The Subs are great and the Glidelock bracelet makes them one of the most wear friendly Rolexes in my opinion.

If you want something that is 'under the radar', the 39mm Oyster Perpetual (introduced in 2015) might work. The rhodium dial is very popular, and the blue one is quite beautiful, too.
As also suggested, the 39mm Explorer is a 'can't miss' choice. The 2016 model is a 100% winner, and the Mk1 version is quite capable as well. I hope this is somewhat helpful. Regards, -Rick. |

Explorer I or 114060 would be my picks. Also I'd sell the two tone. You aren't wearing it.

There are so many interesting options in steel...I would look at all of them before I pulled the trigger on another sub. Not saying I wouldn't have two subs, (because I do ) but there are so many fish in the sea, why limit yourself?
GMT2c LN, the new EXP, EXP2, DJ2, OP, Milguass...the list goes on. Try and see for yourself. |
