Hello,
Looking for more information on a watch received from my grandfather.
Also, where is it recommended to service him (Rolex Geneve?)
Attached are some pics-

Well, it's definitely a bombe lug model, likely PM, likely 34mm/19mm band. You might want to look between the lugs as to what model. Dial looks repainted to me, which is not unusual, especially if it's an early one (some were bubbleback).

is the bracelet original? If it is, then those are much harder to come by....

Dial looks original to me. Appears to be a little extra ink at 6 were Swiss Made should be. So believe it is just hiding behind the the curvature of the crystal.
Second the print looks crisp and clear.
3rd dial appears to have vintage burn marks from the radium.

Due to the age Rolex would probably not service.
And if they did , it might lose some of it's originality, I would ask for suggestions on this forum of whom to send it to.

Here are some more photos.
I have two more question that I would love to know-
a. What year was this manufactured.
b. Should I try with Rolex? How do I approach them?

Thanks,

6090 is the reference number (name). Case should be 14k or 18k solid gold as mentioned before.
The serial numbers were restarted in 1954, this serial is listed as made in 1950 or 1957, I would guess the latter.
And I would not try and use Rolex to service this watch.
