Incoming...my first vintage 5513 MF

Hello to everyone !
Just picked this up from Michael Morgan.
My first Rolex vintage 5513 MF. Unpolished 1970 all original.
So simple and classic. Thanks in advance for looking.

Best,
Mike aka "mdtddd2007"

I've always wanted to know how the chamfers still shine and are razor sharp on these unpolished watches after 50 years...

There's a lot of debate on the term "unpolished," and it can be a sore point, but it's a fair question. Still, if a watch has been sitting in a drawer for many years, I don't think it's out of the question for case lines to stay that sharp.

probably the answer is much simpler than imagined :)

This is a very nice example of 5513 mf... but in my opinion it isn't "unpolished", chamfers are different from the original and even the case shows signs of a polishing...

But .. as told... very very nice 5513... :) ;)
