Incoming...my first vintage 5513 MF
Hello to everyone !
Just picked this up from Michael Morgan. My first Rolex vintage 5513 MF. Unpolished 1970 all original. So simple and classic. Thanks in advance for looking. Best, Mike aka "mdtddd2007" |

I've always wanted to know how the chamfers still shine and are razor sharp on these unpolished watches after 50 years...

There's a lot of debate on the term "unpolished," and it can be a sore point, but it's a fair question. Still, if a watch has been sitting in a drawer for many years, I don't think it's out of the question for case lines to stay that sharp.

This is a very nice example of 5513 mf... but in my opinion it isn't "unpolished", chamfers are different from the original and even the case shows signs of a polishing... But .. as told... very very nice 5513... :) ;) |
