You are in VA, I would contact ADs in nearby states, and see if they have the watch you want.
You can purchase it there, have them ship it to your home in VA as a gift- you can avoid taxes. You also like that too??
Not legally, you can't. See post #26.

AD experience is usually nice, but the money saved using a trusted seller is a way sweeter experience.

First I always buy off of the secondary market but ... the nice thing about going to the dealer is that (depending on your dealer) the selection can be nice to have. If you truly have decided on the one you want, then I don't think there is really any reason to go through the AD. It will be a pleasant experience but one you will pay dearly for. If you are a little undecided ... then it is nice to go in and spend some quality time deciding on your new time piece it will be great experience.

Congrats on the decision to buy your first luxury timepiece and double congrats for making it a Rolex. Please don't take this to offence in any way as I truly want you to have the best experience, but I would recommend taking a lot of time to do research in to the various models and offerings, go to a few ADs not to buy but just to try on...and try on many models. Take your time and don't make any hasty decisions. You won't have any regrets this way

I've gone to an AD to try on a watch, asked them to match the price of a trusted seller. They couldn't do it. So I bought from the trusted seller and enjoyed a hefty savings. Keep your money in ur pocket
