1680 Bevels

I was looking at several pictures of 1680, and in some of them the lugs look sharp, but seem to have no bevels. Does Rolex made some with bevels and other without, or it's just the old case of overpolished lugs?

Adrian if you see no bevel then it has been over polished or polished the wrong way. 1680s did have bevel edges.
