What do you think? 16700 Pepsi Swiss only

Hello,

I am looking for an unpolished 16700 Pepsi Swiss only and I found this one, what do you guys think?

Dealer says it hasn't been polished, Full Set, all original parts, price is 7'700$

There is a scratch at 5 o'clock.

Thank you!

Swiss only at bottom of the dial was the change over from Tritium to Luminover and was used from around 1998 till 2000.Although the 16700 was running in the same time frame as the 16710 it was not the best seller although cheaper than the 16710.Today some call the 16700 the forgotten reference which is a shame, but if you are in to collectibles not as collectible as the 16710 which is a shame it's a fine watch..

Seems like a great price!!! I'd go for it. Remember that without a service record you need to figure that into your cost as well. Consider Rik Dietel on the forum as a service option.

Both do! But as my first Rolex I might prefer a new one, I am a bit maniac so it is hard for me to pull the trigger when I don't feel that the piece is "perfect"
