You can. My thoughts are why it only goes up to 45 minutes and does not include hours? I can time longer with the bezel on my sub. It's not as precise I guess, but stopping at 45 mins is kind of useless to me.

Yes you are, this is for Rolex and Tudor

As for the BB chrono, why the snowflake hands? Why is it a Black Bay?

It's an odd mix of styles and not very practical when the hour hand obscures the subdials.

Not a fan. At all. A veritable hodgepodge of a watch IMO.

Honestly not a bad watch but at around $5K, there are lot more watches to pick over this one. Nothing unique to pick this over its competitors.

Actually, I think it is a very bad watch. Snowflake hand blocks the sub dial.
Sub dial hands can barely be seen (no contrast) when they are in view
Whats the purpose of a 45min sub dial?!.

Just bad on so many levels.

Sure you can. But, as you can see, the BB chrono has not exactly been well received around here.

Parent Rolex should kill that watch and use any resources common to it and the DaytonaC and make more Daytona C's.

It will go down as a bad execution from Tudor. Designed by committee --and it shows. I'll pass on this one.

Any Tudor you like is worth acquiring. I would not avoid a watch because of a few people's opinion on the Internet. I personally like the new BB steel and look forward to seeing it.

Black Bay and Pelagos seem to be forum favorites- have both and they are great watches with a variety of choices and a great price point

The Tudor BB Chrono is a parts-bin vintage-styled amalgamation of what's wrong with this "heritage" trend getting milked to death.

I like it, like the hands and don't mind the 45 minute timer (not an issue for me). Since I've already got a GranTour I won't be buying. I've actually decided after trying on a Daytona on Sunday that Rolex's Chrono isn't for me. Like the modern styled Tudors better. Frankly I'm not fond of Tudor's Heritage Chrono. I don't like the in your face graphics. It's way too pop artish for me.

My opinion is that it's a goofy watch. I'm not a fan for all the same reasons already mentioned.

In terms of the movement it's fantastic. Truly outstanding. But that's where my love for this watch end. Ugly and disfunctional. In this price range the Omega moon watch still holds the crown.

Exactly.

For basically the same money, get the better Chrono... Speedmaster Man on the Moon manual wind. Avoid the autos and the sapphire sandwiches. Get the original.

Completely agree. Original can't be beat.

Also maybe take a look at the blue white and orange Tudor chronograph and breitling Navitimer. Still prefer the omega but worth considering.

That's the only thing that's important.

When the watch actually hits the stores, attitudes could very well change in its favor.

It's happened before, so go by your own instinct.

Don't preorder, there's almost certainly no need with this one. Try it on first, then negotiate a discount.
