i have never seen so many rolexes in one place....

just got back from a week of sun and fun in tel aviv....gorgeous weather, nice people, great food.

one thing that really struck me was the number of rolexes. it was INSANE. on the beach, in the city, at the restaurants, everywhere. at our hotel there was a wedding party and 9 guys out of 10 were sporting a rolex at the pool. vast majority were subs, but, i spotted a couple of milgausses, a few YMs and DJs, an all-gold daytona, TT GMTIIc, etc., etc.

as a final send off, while waiting for passport control on the way back home, a stunning woman was in front of me wearing a smurf (1st i've seen in real life)....and she wore it oh so well.

her husband had a very nice AP RO chronograph. what cracked me up was this couple with around €50K on their wrists was in economy with the rest of "us" and, towards the end of the flight, their infant ended up getting sick all over both of them. quite a sight. no watches were harmed, i think.

yeah, way too many ideas....cocktails + bright sun + watches = way too easy to be enabled.

black dial milgauss made an appearance, and i couldn't stop staring. and i found myself to really like the PCLs in the sun, actually. so shiny!

the hulk, of course, grabbed my attention. very nice.

for the first time ever, i imagined myself with a daytona, and it felt gooood thinking about it. (an SS black dial was inspiring me.)

saw an LV outside of the store for the first time, too, and, i dug it.

etc.

etc.

etc.
