Posting here as I wanted to ask you gentlemen here who have been enjoying their DSSD.

Have anyone tried the new SD43? How does it compare in real life to a DSSD. Read the SD43 threads, but hopefully someone here have actually tried the SD43

Not yet I'm afraid.
We will have to wait quite a while before seeing one in the flesh.
I am on the list for an invitation of the preview watch when it arrives.

Main differences are the letterings. Consistent distinguishing difference across all versions would be the depth ratings:

Mark I has the depth ratings very close to each other.

Mark II has the depth ratings slightly separated or scattered but proportionate to each other.

Mark III scattered but equal sign more to the left instead of exactly in the middle.

I think the differences are to get the counterfeiters behind

A-Blog-To-Watch got to hold into a sample and made a very good review. Wish they visually compared it to a DSSD

Bought this beast to be my daily watch.

2 months in and completely comfortable, not even upset at the desk diving scratches on the excellent glide lock clasp... which I adjust more often than I thought I would - it really adds to the daily wearability of this watch.

Have to say, started off wearing it "fitted" because half the posters recommend a snugger fit given the size and weight. Now I often wear it quite loose, I guess I'm used to big tool watches - the DSSD really isn't oversized - more full sized.

It's pretty cool to get a perfect fit every day depending on your mood, style and activity, and the only watch I own with this ease of micro adjustment.

Like these AC coffee cups too.

Hello........just bought my DSSD last week. .....and I love it.

My AD tried on the new SD43 in Basel and he said it felt too big for him. Personal preference obviously.......as I don't like light or small timepieces.

Hi everyone - I've lurked on TRF for a bit after my first Explorer II purchase last year. But I've clearly been influenced and just flipped it for a DSSD and decided to join the TRF Club. And I absolutely love it!

The Glidelock clasp is an absolutely genius design for everyday wear.

My wrist expands during the day. And then contracts later in the day. So, other watches without it were either too tight or too loose.

As for people saying it is too big etc. the DSSD is approximately the same size as my Tag F1 watch. Thickness and width.

Right on.

Is the DSSD the only Rolex model with the Glidelock clasp?
