1680 702 v 703 crown
Hi guys, I currently have 2 1680. Intend to keep one 1 as period correct as possible.
Just like to check if it is possible to swop the one with 702 crown with the 703 crown together with the crown tube/ stem. Anyone knows if a competent watchmaker can pull this swopping off? Or is this swop even advisable, would the tube be damaged when removed? Thanks! |

Yes, you can swap the tube and crown to the other and vise versa. Though I would suggest changing the orings in both while you're at it. Dont know anyone in Singapore, but check around for reputable places near you. I doubt that RSC would do this and beware of the generic watch smith.
