1680 702 v 703 crown

Hi guys, I currently have 2 1680. Intend to keep one 1 as period correct as possible.

Just like to check if it is possible to swop the one with 702 crown with the 703 crown together with the crown tube/ stem. Anyone knows if a competent watchmaker can pull this swopping off?

Or is this swop even advisable, would the tube be damaged when removed?

Thanks!

Yes, you can swap the tube and crown to the other and vise versa. Though I would suggest changing the orings in both while you're at it. Dont know anyone in Singapore, but check around for reputable places near you. I doubt that RSC would do this and beware of the generic watch smith.
