Bezel 1680

Does anyone know if Rolex still have brand new bezels for the 1680?
Thanks!

The RSC recently serviced my 1680/8 and replaced the bezel with a non-period one. I do not know about the ss but a call to the RSC should answer your question. The RSC did not return my original bezel.

Luminova service bezels are available. Not period correct, but the only thing available from them new.

Hi Jason, I'm asking about the stainless steel bezel, not the black insert. Thanks anyway!

Hi RGAmos, does it look exactly like the original or by "non-period" you mean there are diferences? Could you post a picture of it? Thanks!

I called RSC Dallas a few weeks ago about a bezel for a 1675. They would only confirm that they can replace them, but wouldn't give me any price and told me I'd have to send it in to them. They would also demand to service watch. Ugh.

They do exactly the same here in Brazil, that's why I don't like to call them.

Yes, the bezels are available. I had the bezel changed on an old 5513 without a full service at the RSC in NYC several years ago. I had removed the original bezel and insert, took in the watch and they replaced it with a new bezel and insert. Then when I got home, I took out the new insert and put my old insert into the new bezel. Voila! Not sure if their policy has changed. You can also buy them from independent sellers here and on VRF, of course. Good luck.

I bent a bezel a while back trying to replace an insert , rolex in Dallas replaced it ..was around $240 , the insert if you need it an additional $40 but they are lumi with thin font. The bezel looks same as on a 1680/5513/1675 but won't be as worn or smooth as on a 40 yr old watch. They did not require it be serviced

Not to b confusing. 1675 bezel not = 5513/1680.

I blame it on the autoconnect.

I just purchased a new sealed bezel and insert for my 1675 from a seller here on TRF. I had been looking for one for a while when it popped up. They are out there, you just have to patient.
